Thank you, Lyle.

A much belated Happy New Year to you, too. I realise that when it's offered two clear weeks into February that it may have lost some of its relevance, but I still wish you and your all the best for the (balance of the) New Year!

I hope you enjoyed the January issue...and the February issue. And please stay tuned for March as we have another great number in store.

I truly appreciate your kinds words about Mum. Candidly, the reality of both of my folks being gone is just beginning to sink in. I remember hearing someone say that when the last of that generation is gone the irrational thought is "so who's going to look after me?" Of course, at nearly 61 years old, I have looked after myself for well over four decades. But I will miss those really deep sleeps of being under the same roof as the folks, even when we visited them later in life.

All the best, and thank you so much for reading. Being in touch with readers with you is what makes editing RCSD really special.

Cheers...~TCG
